Case Study
I was in Stephanie’s class last semester for English 110 and when I got back my paper she brought up that we have to revise our paper to get a better grade. I was like no way I was going to re write this paper over. It felt like I wrote a paper and pretty much have to throw it away and redo the whole thing. I went to Stephanie and conference with her on my paper. All I had to do was correct these few error and that’s was not a lot. After that I like to revise because my paper gets stronger and better every time I go see her or look at what she wants me to change. I like to revise just because I want feedback on how I did, spend a lot of time on my paper I want good feedback so I can get better at my writing and see what my weaknesses are.

Caitlin, I think this was one of our shining moments in our student/teacher relationship!
Another thing that might help you think about revision differently is that everyone, EVERYONE, can benefit from it.
